Baja Brewing Co SJD is the original craft brewery and brewpub located in the historic Art District of San José del Cabo. Founded in 2007, it holds the distinction of being the first brewery in Baja California Sur. The brewery was established by a father and son duo from Colorado, who infused their beer crafting with both traditional brewing methods and a distinctive Mexican twist.
The restaurant sits adjacent to the brewery and offers a vibrant atmosphere filled with Mexican artistic elements, including an original statue of Saint Lucas, the patron saint of brewers. The venue features two distinct spaces: an indoor area reminiscent of a Mexican “Cheers,” where regular patrons gather nightly, and an outdoor beer garden with wood-fired pizzas, live music, and a relaxed vibe surrounded by local artwork and natural fire and water features.
