Baja Brewing Company is the first and only microbrewery in Los Cabos and all of Baja California Sur. Founded on December 5, 2007, in the historic downtown of San José del Cabo by founders from Colorado, it quickly became a local and tourist favorite for craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery operates two production facilities—its original brewhouse in San José del Cabo at the southern tip of the peninsula and a newer one in Tijuana at the northern end—ensuring wide distribution across the Baja Peninsula.
Located on the rooftop terrace of Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa, Baja Brewing Company offers spectacular views of Land’s End alongside a selection of eight original craft beer recipes. Their beers are crafted using just four ingredients—malted barley, purified water, hand-selected hops, and fine brewer’s yeast—with a distinctive Mexican twist imparting a true taste of Cabo in every sip.
The menu pairs these artisanal beers with both traditional pub fare such as shepherd’s pie, burgers, chicken wings, and onion rings, and elevated dishes including steaks, fresh seafood, shrimp skewers, and pastas. Their popular beer-infused pizzas have been featured in Food and Wine magazine. Live music from classic rock to salsa is featured Thursday through Saturday nights, contributing to a lively and inviting atmosphere. The venue is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
